Brilliant location, lovely rooms

I booked Louvre Sainte Anne based on tripadvisor reviews and its location, and I have to say I agree with previous reviewers. The location is brilliant, halfway between the Louvre and Opera, with many other lovely landmarks within walking distance - and the Metro for everything else. The staff supplied me with a map plus useful directions as to how to get to where I wanted to go. The room on the ground floor is fairly small but perfectly servicable and very neat. The air conditioner wasn’t working but that didn’t bother me - it was the staff who thought I would be too hot and supplied a pedestal fan, and even asked if I wanted to change rooms. Noise from the street can be distracting with the window open, but sleeping with earplugs was no problems.

Plenty of Japanese restaurants in the area, but I went to try nearby French restaurants instead.
